Guns On The Roof - New Frustration

I loved their EP, 'Last Orders'. I was looking forward to hearing the album! It was worth the short wait!! 'New Frustration' by Guns On The Roof is just about everything I'd expected it to be; punchy, rockin', intoxicating - and then some!! If you like your rock with a kick-ass edge, like it sharp, like it fast and furious and enjoy a bit of head-bangin' then Guns On The Roof will be right up your street coz these guys give it out hard and give it out with conviction.
Guns On The Roof don't actually go anywhere different, they don't do anything really new but, Guns On The Roof do do rock with style, aplomb and total unity! 'New Frustration' gets straight down to business with 'Last Orders' and the vibe never once lets up, right through fourteen tracks, start to finish - rock solid, buzzin' rock'n'roll with just enough nu-punk edge to make it feel slightly aggressive and a bit in-yer-face! Yes, 'New Frustration' is fast, furious, beefy and ballsy. Guns On The Roof (I still love the name!) make a really good 'noise'; they sound like a really well honed, well oiled unit. They appear to play for each other and that 'sharing' ethos results in a very tight, very focussed feel. 'New Frustration' just rips along with no let up, no respite, no chance for breath - everything's firing on all cylinders, there's absolutely no space left to fill and yet Guns On The Roof never sound over-busy or indulgent.

'New Frustration' by Guns On The Roof is a solid piece of new-age rock'n'roll of the highest order; Guns On The Roof have gone in, done the job and made it work, no fuss, no messin' - just good old rock'n'roll from the heart - rock'n'roll for the heart, rock'n'roll for any age, any time and any nation - rock of ages, shit-hot rock, shit-hot roll! 'New Frustration' by Guns On The Roof is just short of forty minutes worth of modernistic rock'n'roll gold - a bloody good album from a bloody good band - hey, keep rockin' boys, great stuff, timeless and massively commercial stuff this - Guns On The Roof have got all sides covered now watch 'em go!!
